Structured process from specification review through commissioning handover
Review mechanical drawings, control sequences, and BMS architecture. Identify I/O counts, protocol requirements, and environmental constraints.
Select valves, sensors, controllers, and VFDs based on application data. Provide technical submittals with performance curves and wiring diagrams.
Program controller firmware, configure BMS point maps, set VFD parameters, and prepare factory acceptance test (FAT) procedures.
On-site installation support, functional testing, loop checking, and performance verification against design intent. Handover documentation package delivered.
Post-commissioning monitoring, scheduled recalibration, firmware updates, and performance trend analysis via remote access where available.
Transparent boundaries to set accurate project expectations
On-site commissioning support is available in 52 countries through our 20 regional service centers. Remote commissioning (via secure VPN) is offered where on-site presence is not available, though complex multi-protocol BMS integrations may still require at least one on-site visit for physical loop verification.
Honeywell engineering services cover control components (thermostats, valves, sensors, VFDs, BMS modules) only. We do not manufacture or service compressors, chillers, or other mechanical refrigeration equipment. For integrated system commissioning, we partner with the OEM equipment supplier's field service team.
Standard sensor recalibration turnaround is 5-7 business days from receipt at our calibration laboratory. Expedited 48-hour service is available at additional cost. NIST-traceable calibration certificates are valid for 12 months; operating in corrosive or high-vibration environments may require shortened recalibration intervals of 6 months.
